Counselling and Therapy in Colemans Hatch, East Sussex

Feeling stuck? Wondering why it feels difficult to make a shift in the same old patterns of life? You may feel you need a change but are unsure how; or life may feel like a struggle with feelings of despair and hopelessness, or that life is a long and lonely journey with little meaning and that connection with others is a struggle.
Together we will look at why you are struggling and what you would hope to achieve from therapy. This creates a safe container and also allows you to be part of the changes that you would like to make.
Sharing thoughts and beliefs about yourself can be the beginning you need to make some changes. I am committed to providing you with counselling/psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment, allowing you to discover your inner resources for the changes you feel would be useful. Self-awareness can lead to breaking the chains from old behaviours and patterns and can lead to more spontaneity and freedom of choice.
I am a psychotherapist working with individuals and couples on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.

I can support you to :

  • Process distress resulting from childhood experiences
  • Move out of depression
  • Manage anxiety and panic
  • Resolve relationship difficulties
  • Coping and coming to terms with bereavement and loss
  • Redundancy
  • Heal trauma and reduce stress
  • Change patterns of behaviour that leave you feeling alone, distressed and dissatisfied with your life
  • Develop self esteem & improve confidence

I am fully insured and am a registered member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, UKATA (UK Association for Transactional Analysis), European Association of Transactional Analysis (EATA) and International Transactional Analysis Association (ITAA).
